RULES YOU NEED TO KNOW:
Seat Belts must be worn at all times to insure the safety of all riders. Parents must provide safety seats for children as the law requires.
Passengers must be ready for pick-up 30 minutes prior to their scheduled pick-up time. Drivers are allowed to wait 5 minutes beyond your scheduled pick-up time. SPT provides curb-to-curb service. PLEASE MAKE ARRANGEMENTS FOR ASSISTANCE, IF NEEDED.
No smoking, eating, or drinking is allowed on vehicles. Exceptions will be made only for medical reasons. Guns and/or weapons are also prohibited.
If an escort must ride with a passenger, please notify the office at the time the appointment is made.
Passengers who are pysically and/or verbally abusive to other passengers or the driver, and who interfere with the driver's safe operation of the vehicle may have services temporarily and/or permanently discontinued.
Services may be discontinued if you continuously forget or elect not to take a scheduled trip, and do not cancel in advance. Swain Transit reserves the right to refuse service to anyone.
Passengers may not change the trip origin or destination without approval from the SPT office.
